Another cause of your sickness, and the most important: you have forgotten what you are. Boetius.
We have what we seek. It is there all the time, and if we give

Up and Coming Workshops and Events:

Flow Workshops

The Flow Workshops are based loosely on experimenting with ways of finding and experiencing 'flow' in our lives, both on an individual and collective level.

As you might imagine, the content of Flow Workshops change with each workshop, but
this is how a recent Flow Workshop was described:

"Where is our vitality, our creativity, what is our relationship with it? We might feel the
need to come un-stuck, to find inspiration, or to live more fully. What stops us from

Drum-Related Workshops

Picture of drumsDrumming and rhythm making are a unique way of
expressing yourself, and enhancing your creativity, communication, confidence and vitality. And these drum workshops are designed to do all of these things, as
well as explore the therapeutic benefits of drumming
- with the emphasis on fun.

No experience with drums is required, but if you do have
your own drums you are encouraged to bring them along.

The latest details of the drum workshops can now be

- this one-day workshop offers you the opportunity to discover your sense of rhythm, to discover your creativity and vitality, whilst having fun

"Thrumming": The Magic of Rhythm Workshops
Facilitated by Filomena Ianni and Lesley Eastman

You will embark on a guided journey through rhythm and choose a hand drum to
accompany you on this adventure. All you will need is your curiosity and playfulness as
you experiment with tracking the pulse of your inner world through the skin of your
chosen drum.

From this meeting with your core-self you will have the opportunity to travel across the
bridge that connects your inner experience to the demands of the ebb and flow of the
outer world beyond.

Towards the end of the workshop you will be invited to bring your personal rhythm into
the group and discover how this is welcomed and woven into the fabric of a shared
community experience...

Note about co-facilitator Lesley Eastman (in her own words)
"I am an experienced counsellor / psychotherapist / group facilitator who lives and
practices in York. Since joining a drum circle I have become fascinated by the healing
power of rhythm as there is no part of my mind, body and soul that remains untouched
by the joyful experience of hand drumming. I am keen to share the benefits I have
discovered with others."
